IEDC Bled School of Management Alumni Club Croatia in cooperation with IEDC Bled School of Management invite you to the master class lecture:

Embedded Sustainability : The Next Big Competetive Advantage by Nadya Zhexembayeva Ph.D.

Nadya Zhexembayeva, Ph.D., is Chair of Sustainable Development at IEDC- Bled School of Management, Slovenia, where she teaches leadership, organizational behavior, and sustainability. Nadya’s research, teaching, and consulting centers around leadership, organizational design, change management, and sustainability strategy. Dr. Zhexembayeva is the Vice-President of the United Nations Global Compact Slovenia, an association of businesses dedicated to corporate citizenship, where she consults companies in Central and Eastern Europe on a range of sustainability and stakeholder issues.

Nadya earned her Doctorate Degree in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, USA, where she also served as an Associate Director at the Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, now Fowler Center for Sustainable Value. She received Bachelor of Arts in Management and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hartwick College, USA. She started her career in the insurance industry, and then led Association of Young Leaders in Kazakhstan.

The lecture will take place at

Hotel Antunović, Zagrebačka avenija 100A, Zagreb on Tuesday March the 8th at 18:00, followed by the evening party.

Please note that this year as well, Alumni Club Croatia organizes 4^th in a row Case Study Competition. Prior to the master class lecture, the jury consisted of Nadya Zhexembayeva (IEDC), Miroslav Klepač (Iskon) and Krešimir Kvaternik (Fina) will select the winner of the 2011 competition at 17:45.
